Purpose:
The governance & workflow taskforce was set-up to propose a governance and workflow model for the DataPortability Project based on recent discussions and the maturity of DataPortability as an organisation.
Taskforce deliverables:
- Propose a lifecyle of an idea with it's involvement with DataPortability, and ultimately it's implementation
- Propose a working decision making framework to be used within the DataPortability Project
Finalization:
On the Steering group call of June 16th 2008 the members of the Steering Group present on the call unanimously thanked the contributors on Governance Task Force for their work in drafting the Governance & Workflow proposals. The motion was made (and passed, yes = 4, no = 2) for the Governance Task Force to be closed out and for the Steering Group to take on further discussions to close out any unresolved items.

The Taskforce was chaired by Elias Bizannes. The alternate chair was J. Trent Adams
Participation was open for anybody to be included in the taskforce.
