A brief overviewDataPortability Action Groups are official standing committees, approved by the Steering Group, whose charters define specific, ongoing work to realize the DataPortability Project mission. Action Groups start as an idea by any member of the community, are proposed to the Steering Group, and are lead by a Chair. Active Action GroupsCommunications Action GroupThe "Communications Action Group" is responsible for ensuring that there is a consistent voice for all external communications for the DataPortability Project. The Chair of the 'Communications Action Group" is responsible for driving the channels described below and ensuring that the DataPortability project members that participate in any of these channels are consistent and true to the DataPortability Project message. Current Chair: Alisa Leonard-Hansen Governance advisory Action GroupThe "Governance Advisory Action Group" advises Steering on evolving the bylaws, executing elections, and investigating other matters pertaining to governance.
