About the logo

The DataPortability logo represents a commitment to the vision and mission of the DataPortability Project. In most cases, it is not an official endorsement from the project, but rather a declaration from the given site/service that they believe in and strive for our ideals.

There is currently no 'Official Compatability' status or logo that we issue, however. Any site or service claiming such a thing should be treated skeptically.
