  • Researcher: J. Trent Adams, Brett McDowell
  • Link: http://cyber.law.harvard.edu
  • Legal Structure: Being defined, similar to structure of IEEE-ISTO option.
  • Requirements: Being defined

Key Questions:

Notes:

  • This is very much a work in progress.
  • Only had one conversation on 5/2/2008 between Trent, Brett, and Doc Searls about it.
  • The basic concept is to form a new Administrative Management entity under the aegis of Berkman that would serve as a "parent" entity tailored to projects like DataPortability and Project VRM.
  • VRM needs something like this, and we talked about how similar we are to them, and that a shared administrative / legal layer makes sense.
  • Many issues need to be fleshed out.
  • Further discussions ongoing, and more to report as they progress.
